Payments Operations Specialist (Cross-Border / Remittance)

Job Details:Contract Duration: 6 Months to PermLocation: Clarke QuayJob Descriptions:Merchant ManagementManage end-to-end merchant onboarding, including KYC review, account setup, agreement execution, and system integration.Provide ongoing account support and resolve merchant operational and service-related issues.Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure compliance and service quality.Payment & Remittance OperationsProcess and monitor cross-border payment and remittance transactions, ensuring accurate and timely settlement.Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, settlement exceptions, and operational issues.Coordinate with banking partners and internal teams to support smooth payment operations.Operations & Project SupportSupport process improvements, operational workflow enhancements, and new product implementations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational initiatives, system upgrades, and projects.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate operational records, reconciliations, reports, and SOPs.Prepare operational and management reports as required.GeneralStay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and payment technologies.Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned.RequirementsExperience in payments, remittance, fintech, banking, or financial services is preferred.Knowledge of cross-border payments, remittance operations, FX, or settlement processes is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Familiarity with payment platforms, APIs, or system integrations is a plus.Interested candidates, please click on the following link to begin your job search journey and submit your curriculum vitae (CV) directly through the official PERSOL job application platform - GO.By sending us your personal data and curriculum vitae (CV), you are deemed to consent to PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd and its affiliates to collect, use and disclose your personal data for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy available at https://www.persolsingapore.com/policies.
