This role is crucial in ensuring the responsible development, deployment, and ongoing monitoring of AI/ML models/GenAI solutions. The Model Owner will play a pivotal role in upholding DBS's Responsible Data Use (RDU) framework, particularly the PURE principles (Purposeful, Unsurprising, Respectful, Explainable) and AI Governance standards.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Model Owner will be accountable and responsible for the entire lifecycle of assigned models, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure their fitness for purpose and adherence to governance requirements. Key responsibilities include:Model Lifecycle Management: Own the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI/ML models/GenAI solution throughout their life cycle.Requirements Translation: Ensure that business requirements from the Use Case Owner are clearly communicated to the model development team and that models are developed according to these requirements.Model Evaluation & Testing: Conduct comprehensive model testing and review performance and fairness results (where applicable) to ensure models are fit for purpose and ready for deployment.Communication & Training: Ensure necessary communication and user training on model outputs, expected usage, assumptions, and limitations are provided to the use case team.Data Quality Assurance: Ensure that critical data attributes for the model are identified and periodically quality-checked to meet defined data quality thresholds.Governance & Compliance: Ensure all owned models adhere to the AI governance framework, unit and location-specific requirements, and other internal and external policies and regulations.Third-Party Model Oversight (Proxy Model Owner): If a third-party AI model (e.g., ecosystem partner model or subscription-based model) is used where DBS does not own or have access to the model, a Proxy Model Owner will be identified. This role focuses on the evaluation and ongoing monitoring of the model to ensure its fitness for purpose, conducting appropriate due diligence, and reviewing vendor documentation and processes. Job RequirementsProven experience in AI/ML model/GenAI solution/Agentic AI development, deployment, and monitoring within a data-intensive environment.Strong understanding of AI/ML models/GenAI/Agentic AI solution, data quality principles, and relevant governance frameworks.Familiarity with responsible data use principles and AI governance standards, such as MAS FEAT principles.Ability to conduct thorough model testing, performance review, and fairness assessments.Excellent communication skills to articulate concepts to diverse audiences, provide user training, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks associated with model usage.A deep understanding and commitment to ethical data practices and responsible AI development.Apply Now​We offera competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of adynamic environment that supports your development and recognises yourachievements.
