Job Objective: Drive process improvement, digitalisation, and data-driven decision-making across group levels (Singapore and Indonesia)Review existing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, implementing digital solutions, and developing reliable management information systems. Key role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening control mechanisms, and supporting business transformation initiatives across Singapore and the wider South-East Asia region.Core Responsibilities:Business Process OptimisationReview and diagnose end-to-end business processes across commercial, operational, and support functions. Redesign and streamline processes to improve efficiency, transparency, accuracy, and accountability. Establish structured workflows, standard operating procedures, and governance mechanisms where required. Digital Transformation & AutomationLead and support digital transformation initiatives to improve business agility and operational effectiveness. Drive the digitisation of operational, commercial, and industrial processes. Work with internal stakeholders to implement digital tools that improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, and process control. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence.Job Specifications:Minimum education qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in the Digitisation of Operational and Industrial Processes or Business Information TechnologyMinimum years of experience:10 years of demonstrated experience in the digitisation of operational and industrial processesProven background in end-to-end business process diagnosis and redesign in international environmentsTrack record of operating effectively within complex, culturally diverse organisational structuresPrior exposure to the JV or South-East Asian (SEA) markets is a strong differentiatorExperience in oil and lubricant industry is an advantageKey job-specific competency requirements:Advanced proficiency in digital transformation tools and data analytics platforms (PowerBI, SAP, and similar)Experience with pricing tools, trade programme management systems, and ERP integrationFamiliarity with formulation optimisation platforms (e.g. Uncountable or equivalent)Ability to design and implement KPI dashboards and performance management frameworksStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetHigh influencing and communication capability — drive change without direct hierarchical authorityDemonstrated change management and operational adoption skillsCross-functional, end-to-end business perspectiveIntercultural sensitivity and adaptability, particularly within the SEA region
