AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore, to build and anchor deep national capabilities in AI.  AISG is supported through a government-wide partnership including the NRF, Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Economic Development Board (EDB) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG). We are looking for a Lead/Senior Speech AI Engineer to develop robust voice applications.Key Responsibilities:Model development: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) models tailored to specific domains, accents, and multilingual contexts.Pipeline Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of voice pipelinesVoice Application Architecture and Engineering: Design voice applications that are scalable and have low latencyJob Requirements:PhD qualification degree in AI or related fieldAt least 5 years of relevant experiences in working on Speech AI / LLMsStrong programming proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).Familiarity with modern speech libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, Whisper, Wav2Vec).Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) to complement speech-to-text pipelines.Experience with model deployment and containerization (e.g., Docker) in real-world environments.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
