Senior Banking Systems Analyst(Digital Transformation, AML/KYC, Payments, Actimize)

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Banking Systems Analyst to contribute to enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives within the banking sector. This role requires strong functional expertise in regulatory compliance, payments systems, and core banking platforms, along with the ability to bridge business requirements with technology solutions.ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system documentation.Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders across business, compliance, legal, and technology teams to capture requirements.Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as AML, KYC, and FATCA across digital banking and payment solutions.Work closely with technical teams to support system integrations, including APIs, core banking interfaces, and external service providers.Participate in designing and enhancing customer journeys, including digital onboarding, card services, and dispute handling processes.Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, validate system functionality, and support deployment activities.Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with organizational goals.Identify and implement process improvement opportunities through business process reengineering initiatives.Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, with a substantial portion in banking and financial services as a Systems/Business Analyst supporting complex transformation programs.Strong domain expertise in corporate and retail banking, with in-depth knowledge of payments, cards, and digital banking platforms.Demonstrated hands-on experience in regulatory compliance programs, including AML, KYC, FATCA, and exposure to Actimize solutions, which are critical for financial crime risk management.Proven track record in delivering large-scale digital transformation or regulatory-driven initiatives, requiring advanced analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.Experience in multi-system integration environments, including API-led architectures and third-party vendor systems.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.Ability to work in highly regulated environments requiring precision, governance adherence, and audit readiness.
