VP - Senior IT Analyst (Data / Datawarehouse)

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Analyst (Data Warehouse) to build an enterprise datawarehouse for a Financial Institution. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep hands‑on experience in banking data platforms, ETL pipelines, data modelling, and end‑to‑end SDLC delivery. You will lead requirement analysis, data mapping, solution design, and data flow optimisation for mission‑critical banking and regulatory systems.The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capability, technical proficiency, and excellent stakeholder management across business, operations, and technology teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirement gathering and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, data mapping sheets, and technical design documents.Analyse, design, and optimise data flows, data lineage, and integration patterns across enterprise data warehouse environments.Drive end‑to‑end SDLC delivery, including analysis, design, development support, SIT/UAT coordination, defect triage, and release readiness.Perform data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and banking data standards.Oversee and validate ETL workflows, transformation logic, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and performance.Conduct data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, and quality checks across large and complex datasets.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including business users, data engineers, QA, and project managers to deliver high‑quality data solutions.Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting, data governance, metadata standards, and security controls.Job RequirementsMinimum 12 years of experience in Data Warehouse, ETL, or enterprise data roles within banking or financial services.Strong hands‑on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Teradata, DataStage, or equivalent).Proven capability in data mapping, data modelling, data flow design, and large‑scale data integration.Solid understanding of RDBMS, SQL, and performance optimisation across complex datasets.Strong experience preparing BRDs, FSDs, technical specifications, and traceability matrices.Demonstrated ability to support SIT/UAT, including test planning, test data preparation, and defect resolution.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business, operations, technology, and data teams.Experience working with data in finance, AML, payments, or core banking systems is highly preferred.Interested candidates pleae email your latest resume to [email protected]
