About the Team:The Rates team is a dynamic and collaborative group responsible for managing the end-to-end rates sourcing process, ensuring accurate and timely data for valuations and analysis.Role Overview:As a Rates Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the rates sourcing process. You will be responsible for tasks ranging from data analysis to project support, contributing to the accuracy and reliability of market data used for various financial functions.Key Responsibilities:Rates Sourcing Support: Work closely with the Valuations, Rates and Product Control teams on the rates sourcing process, from source to distribution.Assist the team with daily BAU activities, including rate configurations, resolving rate exceptions and investigations.Perform trending analysis of key market data drivers, providing valuable insights into daily market movements.Project Support: Assist with testing of projects and initiatives in rates automation and enhancements across Valuations and Rates teams.Track and follow up on the status of various initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.Data Management & Delivery: Be responsible for the delivery of end-of-day market data for EOD valuations for an assigned asset class.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of market data and related processes.Qualifications & Skills:University Degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, preferably around valuation or market data.Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is an advantage.An understanding of financial markets and products, (particularly in Credit markets), is beneficial.A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about data analysis and financial markets to make a meaningful impact within a leading financial institution.
