Cloud Data Architect

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design and build scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise data platforms that support business intelligence, analytics, and AI initiatives. You will define the overall data architecture, establish governance standards, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, accessible, and trusted data across the organization.Working Hours: Mon-FriWorking Location: CentralSalary Package: Up to $12,000 (basic) + AWS + VBKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement enterprise data warehouse and lakehouse architectures.Develop scalable data models for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.Design and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines.Evaluate and implement modern data platforms and technologies.Define data architecture standards, modelling practices, and best practices.Build and maintain data lineage, metadata, and documentation.Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.Ensure data quality, availability, reliability, and platform performance.Collaborate with Data, Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to support analytics and AI use cases.Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and architectural approaches.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.At least 10 years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or enterprise data platform design.Strong experience designing cloud-based data platforms and large-scale data solutions.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Lake Formation, IAM, and SageMaker.Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, dbt, and Airflow.Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and real-time data processing.Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and regulatory compliance (PDPA/GDPR).Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Informatica, Talend, or similar technologies is an advantage.AWS Solutions Architect or relevant cloud certification is preferred.What You'll BringStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to balance technical excellence with business needs.Passion for driving modern data and AI capabilities across the organization.Bysubmitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure ofyour personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy(scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).This authorizes us to:Contact you about potential opportunities.Delete personal data as it is not required at this application stage.All applications will be processed with strict confidence.
