Cashier (Jewellery Retail)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to support daily retail operations in our jewellery store. The incumbent will handle cashiering duties, ensure accurate transaction processing, and provide a smooth and professional customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all cashiering duties, including cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments (e.g. PayNow)Process sales transactions accurately using POS systemsIssue receipts, invoices, and maintain proper transaction recordsPerform daily cash reconciliation and closing reportsAssist in handling returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policiesSafeguard cash, receipts, and cashiering equipmentSupport store operations including basic customer service and product handlingMaintain cleanliness and organization of cashier counterEnsure compliance with company SOPs and financial proceduresRequirementsMinimum Secondary education or equivalentPrior experience in retail cashiering or customer service preferredFamiliar with POS systems and basic computer skillsStrong numerical accuracy and attention to detailHonest, responsible, and able to handle cash independentlyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays
