About the Role!As a Business Development Associate based in Singapore, you will play a crucial operational and administrative role in supporting our Business Development Managers. Similar to a Relationship Manager Assistant, you will ensure the seamless execution of the sales cycle by processing leads, facilitating client follow-ups, and managing scheduling. This position offers more responsibility than an internship, providing an excellent stepping stone for individuals looking to build a robust career in business development and financial technology.Who This Role Is ForYou are not here to close deals — you are here to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You are the BD team's second pair of eyes across every active client relationship, freeing the team members to focus on the highest-value conversations while you ensure flawless execution behind the scenes.Key Responsibilities:● Client Meeting Supporto Accompany the BD team to client meetings and pitch sessionso Take detailed notes on meeting content, client requirements, and commitments madeo Prepare and send post-meeting follow-up communications, ensuring all action items are captured and actioned● Client Follow-Up & Documentationo Track client document submissions and monitor completeness of onboarding materialso Liaise with the Onboarding and Compliance teams to stay current on Account Opening statuso Escalate delays or anomalies to the Director promptly and help push resolution● Transaction Monitoringo Monitor client trading activity once accounts go liveo Identify friction points, process delays, or client-side issues and flag them to the Director immediatelyo Coordinate client meetings as needed, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-through● High-Touch Client Trackingo Serve as the BD team's tracker across all priority client relationshipso Maintain an up-to-date client status log so the pipeline is always visible at a glanceo Proactively identify moments that require Director-level intervention and prepare relevant context ahead of timeRequirements:● At least 1 year of experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or a related field● Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)● Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment● Prior experience with client-facing roles or onboarding processes preferred● Comfortable operating with autonomy and proactive by natureOur Perks and Benefits:● Competitive Compensation and Benefit Package● Group Hospitalisation and Medical Insurance● Fun and Dynamic Environment with plenty of learning and growth opportunities● Career Advancement● Professional Development Training Workshops● Team Building Sessions
