About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead new product development and planning for our digital, AI-enabled, and shared technology platforms.The role will define product vision, strategy, and outcome-based roadmaps while managing internal platforms as products that deliver reusable capabilities, strong developer experience, self-service adoption, and measurable business value.The successful candidate should have strong AI literacy and be able to evaluate AI capabilities, limitations, risks, and practical use cases while guiding stakeholders towards responsible AI adoption.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and communicate clear product vision, strategy, and outcome-based roadmaps aligned with organisational priorities and user needs.Lead product discovery and validation through market research, user research, stakeholder interviews, problem framing, prototyping, and feedback loops.Apply platform-as-a-product principles to manage internal platforms and shared technology capabilities serving multiple teams.Develop value propositions, product concepts, and business cases covering user value, operational impact, financial considerations, risks, and expected benefits.Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, benefits tracking, and continuous improvement.Apply customer-centric design thinking to understand user journeys, pain points, service gaps, and business transformation opportunities.Prioritise product features, platform capabilities, backlogs, and roadmap trade-offs based on business value, user needs, technical feasibility, cost, risk, and strategic outcomes.Drive platform adoption and developer experience through self-service journeys, golden paths, onboarding, enablement materials, and feedback loops.Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions with business, operations, technology, vendors, and leadership stakeholders.Manage competing stakeholder priorities and maintain alignment on product scope, timelines, priorities, and outcomes.Work closely with Agile delivery teams to define epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint goals, release plans, and product increments.Define and track success metrics covering platform adoption, developer experience, operational health, business outcomes, benefits realisation, and budget utilisation.Manage vendors and partners to validate solution feasibility, coordinate dependencies, and ensure delivery remains aligned with product objectives.Evaluate AI and GenAI product opportunities, including prompt engineering considerations, human-in-the-loop design, governance risks, data considerations, and LLM limitations.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Planning, New Product Development, Digital Delivery, Business Transformation, Strategy, Consulting, or related roles.Strong experience defining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, value propositions, and business cases for digital products, internal platforms, or transformation initiatives.Strong understanding of platform-as-a-product principles, preferably with experience managing shared technology platforms or reusable enterprise capabilities.Hands-on experience with product discovery, user research, market research, customer journey mapping, problem validation, and design thinking.Experience managing the complete product lifecycle, including ideation, prioritisation, delivery, launch, adoption, benefits realisation, and continuous improvement.Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including the ability to influence without authority and engage senior executives.Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, including backlog management, user stories, sprint planning, sprint reviews, release planning, and product increments.Hands-on experience using Jira to manage product boards, backlogs, priorities, and delivery progress.Experience improving developer experience and platform adoption through self-service journeys, golden paths, onboarding, documentation, and support models.Strong AI and GenAI literacy, including capabilities, limitations, risks, responsible-use principles, data considerations, and practical product applications.Strong business and commercial acumen, including budget management, benefits tracking, risk assessment, and business process transformation.Experience working with vendors, partners, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing product artefacts, executive updates, decision papers, roadmaps, and workshop outputs.Strong change management capabilities to support adoption across multiple business, product, engineering, and operations teams.Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and shape product direction through structured discovery and iterative delivery.Preferred SkillsExperience managing AI-enabled products, GenAI use cases, data products, automation products, or digital services, particularly within enterprise or public-sector environments.Understanding of AI product management, prompt engineering, human-in-the-loop design, AI governance, AI risks, and LLM capabilities and limitations.Experience with Lean Product, Design Thinking, Service Design, experimentation, and product analytics.Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma, analytics dashboards, survey tools, or similar platforms.Exposure to cloud, data, AI, enterprise systems, workflow automation, or digital transformation programmes.Experience preparing executive-level product strategy papers, business cases, investment proposals, roadmap presentations, and benefits realisation reports.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a product leader who can take early-stage or ambiguous ideas and turn them into clear, validated product directions.You should be comfortable moving quickly from discovery to delivery, managing competing stakeholder priorities, and working hands-on with Agile teams.
