Role OverviewBoilermaster Holdings Pte Ltd is introducing the role of Business Intelligence Manager, reporting to the Chief OperatingOfficer, to identify the company's business intelligence and AI needs, define the business rules, logic and data requirements that Boilermaster's AI systems must follow, and direct the analysis, reporting and continuous refinement ofAI-generated outputs across the business, beginning with HR and extending to manpower planning, quotation generation and wider reporting. Boilermaster's technology partner delivers the technical build; this role owns the business requirements, data direction and outcome quality that make the AI genuinely useful to the company. The company is looking for someone with a strong analytical and business needs background who is motivated to build new capability in data and AI.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify business needsIdentify and translate Boilermaster's business needs into clear data and AI requirements, beginning with HR-related processes and extending to manpower planning, quotation generation and company-wide reporting.Identify further opportunities across the business where AI or digital tools could improve efficiency, reduce cost or strengthen data visibility, and incorporate them into a phased transformation roadmap sequenced by business impact.Provide the rationale and business case for each phase of the roadmap to secure buy-in from the COO and senior management, including the budget and resourcing implications of each initiative.Prepare and analyse dataDefine the business rules and logic Boilermaster's AI systems must operate within, working closely with the technology partner to ensure these are correctly built and configured.Direct the preparation and analysis of the data underlying these systems, including setting data quality standards and data governance practices, and ensuring AI-generated recommendations remain subject to human review in line with responsible AI practice.Review AI-generated outputs, including workforce forecasts, manpower-gap analyses and compensation-parity flags, against actual business requirements, and direct the improvements needed as the tools are refined and adoption expands to more users and areas of the business.Present insightsPresent insights and recommendations from AI-assisted reporting, business intelligence and manpower-planning dashboards to the COO and senior management to support decision-making.Lead change management and training to support staff adoption of new AI tools and digital processes as they are rolled out, building internal capability as adoption expands.Build working relationships with stakeholders across departments and with the technology partner's specialists to keep AI-assisted tools aligned with real operational needs.RequirementsNo prior experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data governance or AI systems requiredStrong analytical mindset, comfortable working with data and translating business needs into clear requirements.Proven track record in change management and project delivery, gained through prior leadership experience, supporting adoption once the AI and data capability is in place.Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work across departments and senior leadership to gather requirements and communicate insights clearly.Genuine interest in building hands-on capability in AI, data analytics and business intelligence.Degree or postgraduate qualification in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or a related field.
