Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Commercial LeadershipLead the marketing of Arabian crude oil and LPG across Singapore and Southeast Asia.Develop and execute commercial strategies to maximize sales volumes and market share of Headquarter.Provide pricing recommendations and market-driven commercial insights to Headquarter.Identify and secure additional customer demand for incremental volumes.Anticipate term demand requirements and provide market outlook assessments.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments impacting regional business performance.Customer & Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders across the region.Lead high-profile customer engagements, executive meetings, refinery visits, and industry events.Represent the company at external forums, conferences, and industry associations.Serve as the primary regional liaison for strategic commercial initiatives and Headquarters engagements.Team Leadership & Talent DevelopmentProvide leadership, guidance, and coaching to Marketing Managers and Coordinators.Develop a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.Mentor and develop junior staff through structured coaching and career development initiatives.Participate in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and evaluation of prospective hires.MarketResearch & Business IntelligenceOversee the Research Function to ensure delivery of timely market intelligence and strategic insights.Review and validate key departmental reports, analyses, and presentations.Provide value-added recommendations to support commercial decision-making and business strategy formulation.Strategy & Business PlanningLead the development and execution of departmental business strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs).Oversee preparation and management of the department's three-year business plan.Manage the annual departmental budget and resource allocation.Support regional coordination activities from the Singapore office.Drive strategic business proposals and recommendations through Headquarters approval and decision-making processes.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.Minimum 23 years of experience in the oil market, energy trading, downstream operations, or related industries.At least 15 years of hands-on experience marketing crude oil, LPG, or other energy products.Strong network and established business relationships within the regional energy industry.Minimum 10 years of leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, customers, and external stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business analysis tools.Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams toward strategic business objectives.Key CompetenciesStrategic LeadershipCommercial & Market AcumenCustomer Relationship ManagementBusiness DevelopmentMarket Intelligence & AnalysisStakeholder ManagementTeam Building & Talent DevelopmentFinancial Planning & Budget ManagementCommunication & Presentation ExcellenceDecision-Making & Problem-Solving
