Technical Architect-Data & AI Technologies

We areseeking an experienced Solution Architect – Data & AI Technologies todesign, architect, and lead the implementation of enterprise-scale Data,Analytics, AI, and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, application teams, and cloud architects to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative data-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & DesignDefine end-to-end architecture for Data, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and Generative AI solutions.Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation roadmaps.Design data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and modern analytics architectures.Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and design documentation.Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance policies.Experience designing and implementing solutions aligned with Singapore Government technology standards and security requirements. Familiarity with the Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environment and related governance frameworks. Understanding of GovTech architecture principles, cloud adoption guidelines, security controls, and compliance requirements. Experience working with government agencies, public sector organizations, or regulated environments in Singapore.DataEngineering & AnalyticsDesign batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines.Architect ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration solutions.Define data modeling strategies (dimensional, relational, and lakehouse architectures).Establish data quality, lineage, metadata, and governance frameworks.Support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.AI &Generative AIArchitect Machine Learning and AI solutions for business use cases.Design Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques.Evaluate and recommend AI platforms, frameworks, and tools.Establish MLOps and LLMOps practices for deployment, monitoring, and governance.Ensure responsible AI, model explainability, and compliance requirements are addressed. Cloud& Platform ArchitectureDesign cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Architect scalable and secure data platforms leveraging managed cloud services.Define infrastructure requirements, performance optimization, and cost management strategies.Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code implementations. StakeholderManagementEngage with business leaders and technical teams to understand requirements.Present architecture solutions to executives and project stakeholders.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and engineering teams.Conduct architecture reviews and technology assessments. RequiredQualificationsBachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.10 + years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Solution Architecture.Strong experience designing enterprise Data and AI solutions.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Experience leading architecture discussions and technical governance.RequiredTechnical SkillsDataTechnologiesData WarehousingData Lakes and Lakehouse ArchitecturesETL/ELT DesignData ModelingData Governance and Data QualityReal-time Data StreamingDatabricsSnowflake / Microsoft fabric AI &Machine LearningMachine Learning lifecycle and model deploymentGenerative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)RAG ArchitecturesVector DatabasesPrompt EngineeringAI Governance and Responsible AI CloudPlatformsMicrosoft AzureAzure Data FactoryAzure SynapseAzure DatabricksAzure AI ServicesAzure OpenAIAWSS3GlueRedshiftSageMakerBedrockProgrammingPythonSQLSpark/PySparkREST APIs DevOps& MLOpsGitCI/CDDockerKubernetesTerraformMLflow
