Data Management Analyst

About the RoleWe are seeking a Data Management Analyst to support a strategic enterprise data platform initiative for a key financial services client. This role will be responsible for managing and monitoring data pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance standards, supporting business stakeholders, and driving enhancements across the organization's data ecosystem.You will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, working closely with Data Engineering, Data Stewards, and Analytics teams to ensure reliable data delivery and continuous improvement of data services.Key ResponsibilitiesData Operations & MonitoringMonitor daily data ingestion pipelines and identify failures or processing issues.Coordinate incident recovery efforts and communicate impacts to downstream stakeholders.Support SLA adherence through proactive monitoring and issue management.Perform data profiling, validation, and root-cause analysis to identify data quality issues.Data Quality & GovernanceSupport data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with data ownership, quality, and stewardship requirements.Conduct data quality assessments and recommend remediation actions.Partner with data stewards to maintain governance standards and controls.Business Analysis & Stakeholder ManagementGather and document business requirements for data enhancements.Translate business needs into functional requirements for engineering teams.Manage stakeholder communications and provide updates on data issues and improvements.Work independently with business users to understand and prioritize enhancement requests.Testing & Continuous ImprovementExecute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop comprehensive test scenarios.Validate data outputs and enhancement releases.Drive process improvements and recommend operational efficiencies.Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and ownership of assigned data domains.Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have SkillsStrong SQL querying and data analysis skills.Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data ownership concepts.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and documentation.Experience working within large enterprise or corporate environments.Experience supporting data management or data operations functions.Preferred SkillsPython experience for data-related tasks and troubleshooting.Exposure to Snowflake, or a willingness to learn.Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.Understanding of cloud-based data platforms.Exposure to AI initiatives.Ideal Candidate ProfileA proactive self-starter with strong ownership and accountability.Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.Able to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.Curious, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologiesAnalytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.Capable of anticipating issues before they impact business users.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.EA Registration : CHONG LI NING PHOEBE, R25157679Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd, Company Reg No. 200909448N, EA Licence No. 10C4544
