The role ensures program codes conform to standards and are delivered with quality, meeting schedule and requirements.Responsibilities | COREAnalyse process and program specifications and translate into program codesEnsure conformance to programming guidelines and best practicesMake changes to configurable items including hardware, software, and documentationPerform configuration management planning, identification, controls, and auditsDevelop unit test packages, execute tests, and document results to ensure qualitySupport integration testing, system testing, UAT, and implementation activitiesFix reported problems or bugs to ensure smooth execution in productionInvestigate errors and initiate amendments and testing for correct and efficient system operationPrepare and maintain up-to-date system documentationAnalyse functional requirements and translate into application design using established methodologiesEnsure codes comply with security guidelinesEssential QualificationsDiploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent1–4 years of experience in developing and delivering application software;Relevant system development and maintenance experience using Java-related technologiesExperience with Spring Boot, Spring Web MVC, Apache Maven and Jasper Report has an added advantageStrong problem-solving skills with ability to think creativelyProficient in written and spoken EnglishWillingness to travel as requiredPreferred AttributesInitiative and strong commitment to results and quality standardsTeam player with strong communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with positive attitude and high energyCustomer-focused with strong service orientationProfessional and/or Technical CertificationsOracle Certified Professional (Java) Preferred.ADDITIONSWork with team lead to ensure design and codes conform to architecture and standardsParticipate in requirements gathering and review functional specifications with Business AnalystsParticipate in peer reviews to improve project quality.WHAT’S ON OFFERYou will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
