As the media landscape continues to evolve rapidly, we are seeking a strategic and analytical thinker to support our transformation, growth, and business planning efforts.The RoleThe Executive, Strategy & Review will support the Lead for Strategy & Review indeveloping strategic insights and business strategies grounded in robust market,industry, and competitor analysis. The role will also involve contributing to keycorporate initiatives related to strategy, business improvement, and organisationaltransformation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of Strategic Insights:Identify, gather, and analyse key data sources relating to the news and media industry.Synthesise findings to surface strategic issues, trends, and implications relevant to AsiaOne’s positioning and growth.Assist in producing clear, structured reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and management, both on a regular basis and as required, to inform strategic decision-making and track progress against strategic priorities.External Environment & Business Analysis:Conduct regular analysis of the external environment, including market trends, competitive dynamics, opportunities, and threats.Integrate these insights into broader strategic analyses to support evidence-based decision-making.GenAI-Enabled Workflow DevelopmentSupport the development of GenAI-enabled workflows that reduce manual work across strategy, research, publishing analysis, competitor scanning, content classification, and reporting.Assist in designing semi-automated processes by translating business or editorial problems into clear workflow logic, including inputs, outputs, rules, review points, and human-in-the-loop checks.Help test, refine, and document GenAI-assisted tools, prompts, rulebooks, and automation workflows to improve accuracy, consistency, scalability, and operational adoption.RequirementsDegree in Business, Media & Communications or related fields0-2 years of relevant strategic / corporate planning, consulting, news media, or related industries. Interest & familiarity with news media will be considered an advantageComfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data, with working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, or Power BI.Ability to think logically and structure arguments clearly.Ability to communicate ideas effectively and work collaboratively across teams, while being sensitive to organisational dynamics and practical constraints.
