A multinational semiconductor supplier seeks a Data Analyst to enhance demand forecasting accuracy by designing, implementing, and operating advanced analytical solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine time-series statistical models for demand forecasting accuracy over an 18-month horizon using R and Python on Google Cloud PlatformAutomate business processes by developing machine learning models with PythonAnalyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify risks, opportunities, trends, and patternsTranslate complex business challenges into scalable, robust, and sustainable analytical solutions using creative problem-solving and deep data expertiseCreate dashboards, reports, and visualizations with Microsoft Power BI to communicate insights and support data-driven decisionsPresent complex information effectively using data visualization techniques via Microsoft Power BIContinuously assess and improve forecasting methods, planning processes, and analytical tools to deliver measurable business valueCollaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, and IT teams to drive adoption of analytical solutions and best practicesRequired competencies and certificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics with 5 years of relevant experienceMinimum 2 years of Python programming experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in time series forecasting, including univariate, multivariate, and ensemble modelingMinimum 2 years of experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL) for querying, database creation, and stored proceduresAt least 1 year of experience with Google Cloud Platform or equivalent cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Power BIPreferred competencies and qualificationsExperience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and forecasting applications in supply chain and demand planningExperience with SAP IBP or other advanced planning systems
