NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.As a Data Platform Architect, you will be responsiblefor designing and governing enterprise-scale data platform architectures whileproviding technical leadership in sales and delivery of complex projects. Thisrole drives system-level design ensures architectural integrity across thesoftware development lifecycle, and formulates scalable data migration andgovernance strategies using modern technologies such as GenAI and Agentic AI.The Data Architect also ensures that solutions are secure, reliable, andaligned with business and technical requirements.What will you do?Architecture& Solution Design·      Define system-level applicationarchitecture including design principles, policies, and controls·      Develop technical designspecifications and implementation strategies·      Formulate scalable data migrationapproaches and governance strategies using modern technologies·      Ensure system design and developmentmethodologies meet functional and system requirements·      Apply best practices, frameworks, andreusable components in project implementationsStakeholderEngagement & Technical Advisory·      Support large data solution bids withimplementation planning and effort estimation·      Participate in requirement analysis tovalidate technical feasibility·      Identify requirement gaps, technicalchallenges, and effort concerns while recommending viable solutions·      Engage customers and stakeholders toexplain architecture decisions and resolve technical issuesTechnicalLeadership & Delivery Oversight·      Provide technical leadership forhighly complex projects involving modern technologies such as DataBricks, GenAI·      Maintain architectural control acrossthe entire software development lifecycle·      Make architectural adjustments whennecessary to ensure successful outcomes·      Estimate implementation effort anddefine sound implementation strategies·      Troubleshoot complex technicalproblems faced by project teamsEngineeringPractices & Governance·      Establish programming guidelines,integration strategies, configuration controls, and risk mitigation approaches·      Ensure scalable, secure, and reliablearchitecture standards are followed across projects·      Support DevOps and MLOps aligneddevelopment practices within data platform environmentsKnowledgeLeadership & Community Contribution·      Coach, train, and mentor otherArchitects·      Share technology knowledge throughCommunities of Practice or internal forums·      Package and deliver advanced technicalcourses·      Contribute to internal knowledgerepositories with lessons learned·      Participate in pre-sales solutioningand review technical proposals·      Represent the organization as aspeaker or panelist at IT-related seminars or trade events  The ideal candidate should possess:Experience in developing and deploying complex, scalable production applications on Cloud or PaaS platforms and ContainersExperienced in GCC including GCC+ and MCC on Azure and AWSExpert in solution architecting with DataBricksWorking knowledge of DevOps software development tools and MLOps methodologiesBroad and deep knowledge of current IT technologiesMinimum 8 years of experience in technical roles applying architectural principles and designStrong presentation, communication, and negotiation skillsEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationshipsSelf-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude and creativityProficient in written and spoken EnglishDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalentAble to clear government clearanceWe are driven by our AEIOU beliefs—Adventure, Excellence,Integrity, Ownership, and Unity—and we seek individuals who embody thesevalues in both their professional and personal lives.
