Whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or simply take you in an exciting new direction, HSBC offers opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as SVP - AI Enablement Lead.In this role you will:Own the AI enablement agenda across the SG Group Chief Operating Office (GCOO) function — embedded as tooling and capability across all pillars rather than managed as a standalone workstream.Act as the primary GCOO-side relationship manager with the GCOO AI Governance Team, Chief Digital Officer, Group Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), and regional regulatory innovation engagement channels including funding mechanisms.Lead stakeholder engagement and change management for the strategic AI pilots ensuring business readiness, user adoption, and clear communication of outcomes to the SG GCOO.Build AI literacy across the GCOO function through targeted enablement interventions — briefings, lunch-and-learns, and hands-on tool familiarisation — calibrated by grade and role.Maintain a horizon-scanning brief on AI regulatory developments, particularly Regional Regulators guidance on AI governance and responsible use, and represent the GCOO's position in Group AI governance forums.Manage the interface with HSBC's Productivity Suite rollout and any Group GenAI programmes relevant to the Singapore GCOO perimeter, ensuring local adoption is tracked and reported.Develop the business case narrative for AI investment requests, translating technical proposals into GCOO and CEO-ready language grounded in confirmed delivery outcomes.To be successful you will need:Strong experience in digital transformation, technology change management or business management, or AI programme delivery within financial services or a similarly complex regulated environment.Experience driving AI or advanced analytics adoption in a business-facing role — including stakeholder engagement, change management, and benefits realisation. Hands-on AI engineering or model development is not required.Strong understanding of the AI landscape as applied to financial services operations: large language models, process automation, document intelligence, anomaly detection, and agentic tooling at a conceptual and applied level.Familiarity with regional regulatory expectations for AI governance, including responsible AI principles and the evolving regional regulators guidance on AI use in financial institutions.Experience engaging with Group AI governance structures and/or interacting with regulators or government innovation bodies &  private training provideres on AI-related programmes.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to translate complex AI concepts into accessible, actionable narratives for senior business and GCOO audiences.Experience designing and delivering capability-building programmes — training, enablement, and adoption frameworks — at scale across a large organisation.Degree-level education; technology, data science, business, or a related discipline.Opening up a world of opportunitywww.hsbc.com/careersHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
