System Analyst, Data Lake/Data Warehouse (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Dear Applicant,If you or someone you know is interested, please send the CV directly to [email protected] (most preferred, as I may overlook some CVs due to the high volume).Please note that visa sponsorship is not available at this time.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business, regulatory, and analytics requirements and translate them into scalable solution and data architecture designs Design data architectures supporting AI/NLP-driven analytics, including ingestion, curation, governance, and management of structured and unstructured data across Data Lake and Data Warehouse platforms Translate business and compliance requirements into NLP-enabled analytical use cases such as text classification, entity extraction, risk indicator identification, and document or alert summarization Develop logical data layering and curation strategies to support reporting, analytics, regulatory, and AI/NLP use cases Perform detailed effort estimation for projects, enhancements, and change requests Collaborate with business, technical, and regulatory stakeholders to define solution approaches and delivery strategies Communicate complex technical and architectural concepts clearly to business users and senior stakeholders Review and validate test strategies, functional test cases, and data validation approaches to ensure quality delivery Support governance, data quality, and validation activities across enterprise data platforms Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation Key RequirementsStrong experience in enterprise data architecture, data modelling, and analytics solution design Hands-on experience working with Data Lake and Data Warehouse platforms Strong understanding of AI/NLP-driven analytics and unstructured data processing concepts Experience translating business and regulatory requirements into NLP-enabled analytical use cases Familiarity with use cases such as text classification, categorization, entity extraction, risk indicator identification, and summarization Strong knowledge of data curation, logical data layering, and governance strategies Experience in effort estimation, project sizing, and change request assessment Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts Experience reviewing testing strategies, functional test cases, and data validation processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solutioning capabilities Experience within banking, financial services, regulatory, or enterprise analytics environments is highly preferred
