About the roleThe Business Planning Manager is a key member of the Business Planning & Performance team at dnata Singapore. This individual will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of business plans, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives. The role will involve working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, drive improvements, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key responsibilitiesLead the development of business plans, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and working with key stakeholders to define clear goals and performance targetsDesign, track, and evaluate business performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the success of business strategiesProactively monitor and report on performance trends, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actionsCollect, analyze, and interpret performance data to provide actionable insights for business improvementPrepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key issues, opportunities, and performance trendsCollaborate with operations teams to assess and enhance operational efficiency, identifying process improvements and cost-saving opportunitiesPartner with various teams (finance, operations, HR, etc.) to support business planning and ensure performance goals are metStay informed on industry trends, competitor performance, and market changes to provide strategic insightsIdentify potential business risks and assist in developing mitigation strategiesFoster a culture of continuous improvement by recommending best practices and supporting initiatives to enhance organizational performanceAbout youBachelor's degree in a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in business planning, performance management, or strategic planning within a corporate or operational environmentStrong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsProficient in business intelligence tools and performance tracking systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI)Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leadership and stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational performance improvementExperience in the aviation, logistics, or related industries is an advantage
