Detailed Job Description : The Data & AI Engineer (Snowflake Platform)will design, build and support production-grade data and AI solutions for Temasek’s enterprise data landscape. The role replaces an existing onsite Qlik Developer position and modernizes the capability while retaining support for essential Qlik analytical applications.The engineer will develop Snowflake data pipelines, transformations and governed semantic views using SQL, Python, Snow park and Airflow. The candidate will create natural-language analytics and intelligent applications using Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents and Streamlet, covering structured and unstructured data use cases.The role includes working with business users and technology teams to clarify requirements, profile and validate data, define trusted metrics, prototype solutions, conduct testing, support releases and investigate production issues. The engineer will maintain solution documentation and ensure compliance with access control, data protection, responsible AI, architecture and operational governance requirements.The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Snowflake, SQL and Python experience, practical data engineering capability, experience delivering enterprise AI or natural-language analytics solutions, and sufficient Qlik knowledge to provide continuity and support a controlled transition from dashboard-centric reporting to Snowflake-native data and AI products.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop and support data and AI solutions on the Snowflake platform.• Build Snowflake data pipelines and transformations using SQL, Python, Snow park and Airflow.• Develop semantic views, verified queries and governed business metrics for natural-language analytics.• Build and support Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents and Stream lit applications.• Maintain and enhance selected Qlik dashboards and support the transition of suitable use cases to Snowflake-native analytics.• Work with portfolio, investment, sustainability and enterprise datasets, including structured and unstructured information.• Conduct data profiling, reconciliation, validation, testing, release and production support.• Apply access control, data masking, auditability, responsible AI and client governance requirements.• Maintain solution designs, data definitions, test evidence, runbooks and operational documentation.Knowledge and skills (general and technical)Technical Skills• Snowflake platform development and strong SQL - Mandatory• Python and Snow park development - Mandatory• Data engineering, data modelling, data quality and reconciliation - Mandatory• Apache Airflow or equivalent workflow orchestration - Mandatory• Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents and semantic views - Mandatory• Retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, prompt design and agent workflows- Mandatory• Stream lit, REST APIs, Git and CI/CD practices - Good to have• Qlik dashboard development and production support - Good to haveDomain and Delivery Skills• Investment management, sustainability or financial-services data - Good to have• Enterprise data and application support operations - Mandatory• Testing, release, incident, problem and change management - Mandatory• Security, access control, auditability and responsible AI practices -Mandatory• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation – Mandatory
