Senior Data & AI Engineer (East / MNC)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlatform Engineering & MS Fabric Build-Out·       Complete the end-to-end establishment of the Microsoft Fabric data management platform for the AP region·       Design and implement data pipelines ingesting from AP source systems (ERP, CRM, and operational systems) into MS Fabric Lakehouse·       Build and maintain medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers) within MS Fabric·       Develop and optimise Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks (PySpark / SQL)·       Integrate MS Fabric with on-premise and cloud data sources·       Implement pipeline monitoring, alerting, and automated failure recovery·       Establish and enforce data pipeline standards, naming conventions, and documentation·       Evaluate and implement scalable ingestion patterns appropriate for AP business systemsData Quality & Governance·       Embed data quality checks and validation rules directly within MS Fabric pipelines·       Deploy Microsoft Purview for data lineage tracking, business glossary, and access governance·       Define and implement a Data Ownership and Stewardship model across AP·       Align with the Global Data Team on AP data governance standards and KPI definitions·       Ensure compliance with internal data controls and regional data policiesAnalytics & Semantic Layer·       Build and maintain semantic models and Power BI datasets on top of the MS Fabric Gold layer·       Support migration and consolidation of existing Tableau workloads where applicable·       Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into data models·       Standardise KPI definitions and ensure consistent data outputs across AP dashboardsAI Enablement·       Provide a governed, high-quality data foundation for AI and Copilot use cases·       Support deployment of Natural Language Q&A interfaces integrated with MS Fabric semantic models·       Collaborate on AI Copilot Studio pilots as the data engineering counterpart·       Support deployment of Natural Language Q&A interfaces integrated withMS Fabric semantic models·       Collaborate on AI Copilot Studio pilots as the data engineering counterpartStakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration·       Act as the primary technical owner of the MS Fabric platform for AP·       Partner with external vendors and implementation partners on pipeline delivery·       Communicate platform status, progress, and risks to management·       Mentor junior data team members on data engineering best practicesREQUIREMENTS·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Engineering, or a related field·       5–8 years in data engineering, data platform, or BI/analytics engineering roles·       Hands-on, production experience with Microsoft Fabric — including Lakehouse, Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks·       Strong experience with Azure Data Platform (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2)·       Proven track record building and maintaining data pipelines from multiple source systems·       Experience with data modelling methodologies (star schema, medallion architecture)·       Experience implementing data governance frameworks; Microsoft Purview experience preferred·       Experience working with cross-regional or cross-functional stakeholders·       Experience managing vendor or partner delivery engagements is an advantageHOW TO APPLY:Interested applicants, please click on “Apply Now” or submit your resume to [email protected] regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Important Note: Trust Recruit Pte Ltd is committed to safeguarding your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).Please read our privacy statement on our corporate website www.trustrecruit.com.sg.Trust Recruit Pte LtdEA License No: 19C9950EA Personnel: Lee Jia XiangEA Personnel Reg No: R25158171
