The successful candidate will join a growing and dynamic team responsible for the Bank’s domestic payment systems. These business-critical platforms support local clearing, cash management services and connectivity with partner banks across the region. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of payment-system initiatives, ensuring that solutions are delivered within the agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with business, operations, technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, testing teams and external vendors.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end project and vendor delivery across scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks and quality.Develop and maintain high-level project plans, detailed work breakdown structures and delivery schedules.Track and report project and vendor progress against agreed milestones and deliverables.Develop and manage recovery plans to address schedule delays, quality issues and delivery slippages.Identify, track and manage project risks, issues, assumptions and cross-team dependencies.Monitor project budgets, forecasts, expenditure and resource utilisation.Ensure compliance with the Bank’s project management processes, governance standards and reporting requirements.Coordinate reviews and approvals with relevant governance functions, including finance, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, compliance and headquarters.Manage change requests and assess their impact on scope, schedule, resources, cost and delivery quality.Facilitate clear and effective communication among business, technology, operations, vendors and other project stakeholders.Lead regular project meetings, steering committee updates and management reporting.Coordinate cross-functional delivery involving infrastructure, application, testing, branch, business and operations teams.Ensure proper production-readiness planning and manage the handover from application delivery teams to production support teams before implementation.Support implementation, cut-over and post-production activities to ensure a smooth transition into live operations.Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, decisions, approvals and delivery records.Requirements:Approximately 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.Substantial experience in the Transaction Banking, Cash Management or Payments domain.Strong functional and technical knowledge of domestic payment and clearing systems.Experience delivering projects involving payment processing, local clearing, partner bank connectivity or transaction banking platforms.Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple internal teams, external vendors and regional stakeholders.Strong experience in project planning, budget management, risk management, change control and governance reporting.Ability to manage cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, application development, vendors, testing, business, branch and operations teams.Hands-on, detail-oriented and results-driven approach.Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.Willingness to share information and contribute knowledge and experience across the team.PMP, PRINCE2 or another recognized project management certification would be an advantage.Preferred Experience:Experience working with domestic clearing schemes, real-time payments, high-value payments or bulk payment platforms.Familiarity with payment messaging, reconciliation, settlement and straight-through processing.Experience working within a regulated banking environment and managing architecture, cybersecurity and operational-risk governance.Experience managing system implementation, migration, cut-over and production-support handover activities.To apply,simply click the "Apply" button or send your updated profile to [email protected] EA Licence No.:18S9405 / EA Reg.
