Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager in Global Server Operations (GSO) Fleet Management Machines, you will develop relationships, both internally and externally, and connect with internal customers and partner teams to develop an understanding of their business requirements and goals. You will lead the development, refinement, and execution of business processes governing the lifecycle of machines within our data centers. Your role is pivotal in driving efficiency, standardization, and operational excellence across our global fleet.QualificationsJob responsibilitiesDesign and implement the processes, systems, and analytics frameworks required to support GSO’s global growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into intuitive, high-impact visualizations and dashboards.Develop what-if models, data pipelines, and advanced investigative toolkits that improve the responsiveness of Google’s infrastructure.Act as a trusted expert in data center solutions, providing technical and operational guidance to executives and external partners.Manage the life-cycle of data-driven solutions, ensuring they meet the technical requirements of our leads and the strategic goals of our partners.Minimum qualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience in program management.2 years of experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.Preferred qualificationsExperience with investigative tools and expertise in SQL, dashboard development using Business Intelligence Platform, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or Microstrategy etc.Experience in data center operations.Ability to engage with executive stakeholders.Strong attention to detail.Excellent communication, and presentation skills.
