Analyst Programmer / Technical Business Analyst (AIDelivery) [Contract]Location: SingaporeContract Type: 12-month contract (Extendable & Convertible)Company / Role OverviewA leading global financial services organisation is hiring an AnalystProgrammer / Technical Business Analyst as part of a transformation toward aproduct-led, AI-assisted delivery model.The role sits within a cross-functional delivery squadworking closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, developers, QA teams, andregional stakeholders across APAC. The successful candidate will bridgebusiness requirements and technical implementation by translating requirementsinto structured functional and system specifications, supporting API andintegration analysis, and enabling efficient software delivery within an agileenvironment.This role is suited for individuals who are comfortableoperating across both business analysis and systems analysis functions, withstrong exposure to SDLC processes, technical documentation, APIs, integrations,and AI-assisted delivery workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Analysis & Technical DocumentationEngage with business, product, and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, validate, and document business and system requirementsTranslate requirements into structured user stories, functional specifications, technical specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and implementation artefactsProduce technical and system documentation including:API interaction flows and specificationsSystem integration diagramsData flow mappingsProcess and workflow documentationAnalyse system behaviour, integration dependencies, edge cases, and technical impacts across applications and platformsSupport backlog refinement and prioritisation in collaboration with Product Owners and delivery leadsSDLC & Delivery SupportWork closely with developers and engineering teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible, clearly understood, and aligned to delivery objectivesSupport agile delivery activities including sprint planning, refinement sessions, UAT coordination, release validation, and defect trackingAssist in analysing and validating system enhancements, application changes, and integration updates during the software development lifecycleCoordinate with QA and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment outcomesChange Governance &Release CoordinationPrepare and maintain change governance documentation, including impact assessments, implementation schedules, rollback considerations, and approval artefactsCoordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) submissions and support release governance processes within a regulated environmentMaintain documentation standards, audit trails, and traceability across project and system changesAI-Assisted Delivery &Continuous ImprovementUtilise AI-assisted tools and productivity technologies to support documentation, requirement analysis, flow generation, test scenario creation, and delivery accelerationReview and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with business and technical requirementsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across SDLC, BA practices, system analysis methodologies, and AI-enabled workflowsJob RequirementsMust-Have3–6 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Analyst Programmer, or similar technology delivery roleStrong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologiesExperience working with APIs, system integrations, and technical application flowsAbility to analyse and document request/response structures, integration touchpoints, and system interactionsExperience producing both business and technical documentation, including:Functional specificationsTechnical specificationsProcess flowsSystem and integration diagramsData flow documentationExperience supporting application delivery, release coordination, UAT, or change governance activitiesComfortable working closely with software engineers, QA teams, architects, and product stakeholders in cross-functional environmentsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiencesExposure to AI-assisted delivery tools, automation tools, or GenAI-enabled workflowsNice-to-HaveExperience within financial services, insurance, banking, fintech, or regulated environmentsFamiliarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, Swagger, or similar collaboration and API platformsExposure to AI-assisted software delivery or emerging AI-enabled SDLC methodologiesBasic understanding of SQL, system querying, or application troubleshooting concepts
