We are looking for Manager for Banking and Financial Services for a Permanent role with our Client.As a Manager, you will lead Payment System Transformation programs covering Vietnam Domestic Payment functions. This role requires the ability to translate business strategy into executable transformation roadmaps, manage complex stakeholder agendas, and ensure that technology-enabled change delivers tangible value to client.Responsibilities:Payments Transformation Delivery· Lead workstreams in Vietnam’s domestic payments modernization programs.· Analyze and redesign payment processes, operating models, and controls.· Assess impacts of ISO 20022 adoption and Finastra GPP implementation.· Facilitate workshops, Fit-Gap analysis, and requirements clarification.· Oversee deliverables, testing, migration, and operational readiness.Client Advisory & Stakeholder Management· Advise stakeholders on domestic payments, ISO20022, and Finastra GPP.· Translate complex requirements into clear recommendations and decision materials.· Support senior leaders in steering committees and decision forums.· Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.Practice Growth & Sales Support· Contribute to business development through proposals, RFPs, and client research.· Develop methodologies, templates, and knowledge assets to strengthen practice.· Support internal operations including resource planning and reporting.Team Leadership· Lead consultants and analysts in project delivery.· Coach junior team members and ensure quality of outputs.· Capture and share project learnings across the practice.Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.· Minimum 10 years consulting experience, ideally within a leading consulting firm.· Banking/financial services expertise with focus on Payments, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, or Core Banking.· Strong knowledge of Vietnam payments including domestic transfers, interbank, instant, and bank to bank operations.· ISO 20022 understanding covering message structures, data requirements, and transformation impacts.· Finastra GPP experience or exposure to payment system implementation and modernization.· Payments modernization background including hubs, ISO 20022 adoption, and operational transformation.· Business analysis skills in requirements definition, Fit Gap, process design, issue management, UAT, and migration.· Stakeholder engagement through workshops, interviews, and consensus building.· Team leadership managing junior members, reviewing deliverables, and coordinating workstreams.· Strong deliverable creation using PowerPoint and Excel for executive materials and project documentation.· Problem solving and communication with proven issue management capability.· Flexibility to contribute beyond client delivery, including sales support, proposals, and internal operations.· Payments processing knowledge in routing, validation, exception handling, repair, reconciliation, accounting, settlement, sanctions screening, AML, and fraud monitoring.· Transaction Banking expertise including Cash Management, Liquidity Management, and Treasury Operations.· Vendor and partner collaboration with system integrators, product teams, and operations teams.· Proposal and RFP support including client presentations, estimation assumptions, and solution options.· Multilingual project experience in English or Vietnamese environments for stakeholder liaison.· Japanese language proficiency is considered an advantage, as it supports effective communication with Japanese speaking clients and stakeholders
