Job Description

We're looking for a talented and innovative Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Singapore. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to our technical vision, and grow your skill set in a supportive and inclusive environment that values continuous learning and innovation. - Develop, test, and deploy software applications using industry best practices and coding standards - Analyze technical requirements and translate them into well-structured, maintainable code - Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to solve complex problems - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality and foster a collaborative learning environment - Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions with resilience and analytical thinking - Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver innovative, scalable solutions - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through testing and deployment - Document code, technical specifications, and architectural decisions for team reference and knowledge sharing - Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing ideas to improve our development processes - Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions that align with organizational goals Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar) - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns - Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail - Experience with version control systems (Git or similar) - Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code - Familiarity with software testing and quality assurance practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments - Experience with relational or non-relational databases **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with popular frameworks and libraries relevant to your programming language of choice - Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies - Experience developing RESTful APIs or microservices - Understanding of system design and scalability considerations - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar) - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with debugging tools and performance profiling techniques - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) WHAT’S ON OFFER You will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
