Back End Engineer [Freelance] at Corporate IT&IS

Job Descriptions: Build and maintain GraphQL schemas and resolvers for the CMS using TypeScript on the Apollo Server framework. Work with our existing Golang services running behind the GraphQL Apollo Server layer. Build and maintain frontend features using Vue, consuming the GraphQL API. Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic workflows ("vibe coding") as a default part of your development process — across backend, frontend, testing, and documentation. Bring practical AI-assisted workflow practices into day-to-day work in a way that's visible and shareable with the rest of the team, without owning formal training or rollout. Test, maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization. Support the DevOps team in determining deployment strategies for the applications you work on. Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues, working with experienced team members to review code and perform unit testing. Identify opportunities to improve system performance and its impact on availability. Analyze user requirements and convert them into clear design documents.

Requirements: Core Requirement At least 2 years of software engineering experience, spanning both backend (TypeScript/Apollo Server, Golang) and frontend (Vue) work. Demonstrated, hands-on fluency with AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) — this is a core, evaluated skill for this role, not a nice-to-have. Strong requirement analysis skills. Experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (planning, creating, testing, and deploying). Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking. Comfortable working across the stack and context-switching between backend and frontend concerns.
