More details as below.Position SummaryThis is a hands-on Cloud Network Engineering role, responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and security within AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong networking fundamentals and practical experience with AWS networking and security services.The candidate will serve as the first point of contact for network-related issues, independently troubleshooting connectivity, routing, security, and performance issues, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and working closely with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams.What will you do• Design, implement, operate, and maintain secure and highly available AWS network infrastructure - Manage and troubleshoot Amazon VPC, Security Groups, Network ACLs (NACLs), Route Tables, NAT, and related AWS networking components• Configure and support AWS Transit Gateway (TGW), VPC Peering, VPC Endpoints (PrivateLink/Gateway Endpoints), Site-to-Site VPN, and AWS Direct Connect• Manage and troubleshoot Application Load Balancer (ALB), Network Load Balancer (NLB), and Amazon Route 53• Implement and support AWS security services including AWS WAF, AWS Network Firewall, and AWS Shield Advanced• Monitor and troubleshoot network traffic and connectivity using VPC Flow Logs, Amazon CloudWatch, Wireshark, and other network diagnostic tools• Act as the first point of contact for network-related incidents and independently troubleshoot connectivity, routing, DNS, VPN, latency, and performance issues• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), provide appropriate resolution, and implement preventive actions for recurring network issues• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to resolve network-related issues and deliver cloud solutions• Ensure network configurations meet required standards for performance, security, scalability, availability, and reliability with proper documentation• Participate in cloud implementations, migrations, network transformation, and infrastructure improvement projects• Maintain technical knowledge of AWS networking and security services and contribute to continuous improvement of the cloud environmentQualifications• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering, Cloud Networking, or Cloud Infrastructure, with strong experience in AWS networking and security• Problem Solving. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to independently diagnose network connectivity, routing, security, and performance issues and perform effective RCA• Collaboration and Communication. Ability to work effectively with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams and communicate technical issues and solutions clearly• Technical. Strong networking foundation with hands-on experience in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, NAT, VPN, and BGP• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon VPC, Security Groups, Network ACLs (NACLs), Route Tables, AWS WAF, AWS Network Firewall, AWS Shield Advanced, ALB, NLB, Transit Gateway (TGW), Route 53, VPC Peering, VPC Endpoints (PrivateLink/Gateway Endpoints), Site-to-Site VPN, AWS Direct Connect, VPC Flow Logs, and Amazon CloudWatch - Experience with Wireshark or similar network traffic analysis and troubleshooting tools• Ability to troubleshoot hybrid cloud and on-premises connectivity and resolve complex network issues - AWS networking or cloud certifications would be advantageous• Experience with network automation or Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible would be advantageous.OverviewWHAT’S ON OFFERYou will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
