Test Engineer (Banking/6 month contract)

About the roleThis role involves developing and executing tests to detect and report errors in the product, ensuring the highest quality of the operations system. You will develop suitable testing plans and frameworks that align with customer needs, and coordinate with various functions and teams to incorporate necessary product changes.Key responsibilitiesWrite test cases, prepare and create test data, execute and retest test casesLeverage in-house GenAI for test case creation and enrichmentEnsure test runs and results are completed within the given time frameDevelop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specificationsIdentify, report, and track software defects and issuesPerform functional, performance, security, and regression testing of software productsReport test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders, and work on their resolutionProvide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teamsStay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologiesWork closely with the Testing Centre of Excellence (COE) to enhance testing processes and standardize testing practices across operationsAbout youDegree in computer science, engineering, or similar technical certificationsAt least 2-3 years of experience in testing, quality assurance, or similar roles, preferably in a SaaS or tech consultancy businessExcellent problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and strong communication skillsProficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Appium, and other testing frameworks (preferred)Certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) and CSTE (Certified Software Tester) (preferred)Interested candidates may apply through the application system.
