The role is accountable for ensuring that analytics becomes a strategic growth and trust lever for the Google relationship, rather than a reporting function.This leader will own the APAC measurement and analytics agenda across Google markets, partner with senior Google and MFG stakeholders, guide market and offshore teams, elevate analytics visibility in planning and leadership forums, and drive the next generation of measurement, AI-enabled analytics and scalable productised solutions.Strategic Mandate· Be the senior APAC analytics partner for the Google account, trusted by MFG leadership, Google stakeholder sand market teams on measurement, analytics quality and business interpretation.· Raise client confidence in analytics outputs by improving consistency, clarity, quality assurance, methodology transparency and senior-stakeholder communication.· Unify the APAC measurement agenda across brand, Engagement, campaign effectiveness, incrementality, Google MMMs, application of Creative Codex learnings, offline measurement and total brand campaign measurement.· Turn analytics from a service line into a visible leadership capability in Google planning, HBRs, QBRs, market reviews and key business decisions.· Develop a stronger MFG analytics operating model across regional, market, offshore, data science, automation and delivery teams.· Identify and scale analytics innovations that can support MFG growth, Google priorities and WPP Media productisation.Google Account Leadership Responsibilities1. Senior Google stakeholder partnership· Act as the senior analytics counterpart for Google APAC stakeholders on campaign measurement, brand analytics, methodology, data credibility and analytics roadmap topics.· Support high-stakes Google conversations where analytics quality, campaign interpretation, market measurement, data gaps or client confidence are at risk.· Translate complex analytics work into crisp business language suitable for Google regional marketing ,measurement and market leadership audiences.· Represent MFG analytics in planning reviews, HBRs, QBRs, leadership updates and market-level prioritisation forums.· Build confidence that MFGanalytics is a proactive advisory capability, not a reactive reporting function.2. APAC Market Analytics leadership· Create a consistent APAC measurement and analytics operating model while accommodating local-market maturity, data availability and client priorities.· Ensure markets have clear standards for campaign readouts, brand measurement, experimentation, MMM, dashboard interpretation and insight quality.· Partner with market analytics ,planning, activation and client-service leads to ensure analytics recommendations are embedded in business decisions.· Help markets move from fragmented measurement requests to a more coherent Google APAC analytics agenda.· Act as an escalation point for recurring analytics quality, stakeholder confidence or delivery-model issues.3. MFG Analytics operating model· Design and improve how regional analytics, market teams, offshore delivery, data science, automation and operations work together on Google analytics priorities.· Create clear governance for intake, prioritisation, staffing, QA, delivery standards, documentation and escalation.· Strengthen the bridge between BAU campaign measurement and innovation / productisation workstreams.· Define role clarity across analytics leads, delivery teams, technical specialists and client-facing stakeholders.· Partner with operations and staffing leads to ensure the analytics operating model is sustainable as Google demand grows.Measurement Strategy and Analytics Excellence· Own the Google APAC measurement strategy across brand, full-funnel campaign analytics, experimentation, incrementality, MMM, creative analytics and offline measurement.· Set methodology guardrails so teams can communicate data limitations, platform gaps, uncertainty and quality caveats without undermining client trust.· Ensure every major analytics output answers the business question, explains confidence levels and translates findings into decisions.· Establish reusable measurement frameworks, playbooks, QA standards, benchmark libraries and executive-ready storytelling templates.· Lead the evolution of APAC analytics toward total brand campaign measurement, meta-analysis and stronger integration between brand and performance learning.Commercial Growth, Productisation and Funding· Partner with MFG / WPP Media leadership to identify where analytics can protect revenue, unlock incremental Google opportunities or strengthen renewals and growth conversations.· Shape the analytics components of pitches, renewals, funding submissions and senior client proposals where measurement credibility or innovation is a differentiator.· Identify repeatable Google analytics use cases that can become scalable MFG Media products, playbooks or reusable assets.· Support funding narratives for Google-aligned innovation, including AI-enabled analytics, creative analytics, measurement automation, MMM / Meridian-related workstreams and productised reporting / insight capabilities.· Create a roadmap for which capabilities can be commercialised now, which need proof-of-concept development, and which require external funding or specialist build capacity.Analytics Transformation and AI-Enabled Innovation· Lead practical adoption of generative AI, predictive AI and agentic workflows where they improve speed, quality, QA, insight generation or stakeholder self-service.· Partner with data science, engineering and automation leaders to turn successful pilots into repeatable Google / APAC capabilities.· Guide innovation across creative analytics, automated campaign diagnostics, insight assistants, measurement planning support, data-quality automation and executive reporting automation.· Set responsible operating principles for AI-enabled analytics so outputs remain explainable, reviewable, client-safe and commercially useful.· Maintain a balanced innovation portfolio: immediate workflow improvements, mid-term productisation, and longer-range strategic capabilitiesPeople, Culture and Capability Leadership· Develop future analytics leaders across MFG APAC through coaching, standards, delegation, succession planning and clearer capability pathways.· Raise the performance bar for analytics thinking, technical depth, business storytelling, stakeholder management and ownership.· Drive training and upskilling across measurement strategy, AI-enabled workflows, client consulting and executive communication.· Reduce silos between local market teams, regional analytics, offshore delivery, data science and automation teams.· Create a culture where analytics teams understand not only how to produce outputs, but how to influence Google business decisions.Skills and Experience· 15+ years of experience across analytics, data science, marketing effectiveness, measurement, consulting, data strategy or related senior leadership roles.· Regional or multi-market leadership experience, ideally across APAC and preferably in a complex client /agency / platform / consulting environment.· Deep understanding of digital advertising and marketing measurement including experimentation, incrementality, MMM, brand lift, campaign diagnostics and media learning agendas.· Technical fluency in SQL, BI, data QA and analytics workflows;
