Senior Data Engineer (AI & Data Platforms)

We are supporting a public sector organisation undergoing a large-scale digital transformation in hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver enterprise data platforms supporting analytics, policy decision-making, and AI capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable data pipelines and platforms (batch and real-time)Develop data models (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional) and manage ETL/ELT processesDeliver analytics datasets, dashboards, and data products to enable insightsImplement data integration solutions (APIs, streaming, CDC) and DataOps practicesSupport machine learning / LLM use cases and apply MLOps where relevantEnsure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are metCollaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineersRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field5+ years’ experience in data engineering within enterprise environmentsStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)Proficiency in Python, Scala, or JavaExperience with big data tools (e.g. Spark, Kafka) and ETL/ELT frameworksFamiliarity with DataOps / CI-CD practicesPreferredExposure to machine learning, LLMs, or AI applicationsUnderstanding of MLOps and responsible AI principlesProfileStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in complex environmentsEffective communicator with strong stakeholder management skillsDemonstrates ownership and commitment to deliverySTReg No. R1768414BeathChapman Pte LtdLicence no. 16S8112
