From managing secure cloud environments and building robust data pipelines, to rapidly prototyping and stress-testing new AI technologies, your work will directly enable innovative, citizen-centric digital services.WHAT YOU'LL DOInfrastructure & Environment Management·       Manage and maintain complex cloud environments within Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) infrastructure for AI workloads·       Ensure secure, stable connectivity between internal government systems and AI tools and platforms·       Perform ongoing system monitoring and maintenance to guarantee optimal AI model performance·       Implement and uphold security protocols for AI data handling and model deploymentRapid Prototyping & Technical Validation·       Conduct technical due diligence on new AI technologies, frameworks, and vendor solutions·       Build proof-of-concepts to validate AI model feasibility and performance before full deployment·       Stress-test AI vendor APIs, model endpoints, and third-party AI integrations·       Document technical findings and provide clear recommendations for AI technology adoptionPipeline Development & AI Infrastructure·       Develop and maintain automated data pipelines designed for AI model training and inference·       Write robust, production-quality code to ensure reliable data movement from source systems to AI models·       Implement MLOps practices covering model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance·       Build and maintain AI model serving infrastructure and API endpointsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREssential requirements:·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, or a related technical field·       3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or equivalent technical roles·       Strong Python programming skills, with hands-on experience in AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn·       Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure for AI workloads (AWS, Azure, or GCP)·       Solid understanding of MLOps practices, model deployment, and performance monitoring·       Experience with API development and integration, particularly for AI services·       Familiarity with data pipeline tools and ETL processes for AI applicationsAdvantageous (but not essential):·       Experience with Singapore Government technology standards and AI governance frameworks·       Familiarity with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments and AI service offerings·       Knowledge of responsible AI practices, bias detection, and AI model interpretability techniques·       Understanding of public sector data governance and privacy requirements·       Previous experience delivering AI solutions in government or public sector environments·       Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or other domain-specific AI applications·       Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes for model deploymentWHO YOU ARE·       A rigorous analytical thinker who sweats the technical details without losing sight of the bigger picture·       A clear communicator who can translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders·       Organised and adaptable — comfortable juggling multiple AI experiments and projects simultaneously·       Genuinely curious about AI trends and proactive about keeping your skills current·       Committed to responsible, secure, and ethical handling of sensitive dataWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?You will work alongside domain experts, data scientists, and policy teams to build AI infrastructure that directly shapes how public services are delivered.
