Test Manager, Compliance (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Dear Applicant,If you or someone you know is interested, please send the CV directly to [email protected] (most preferred, as I may overlook some CVs due to the high volume).Please note that visa sponsorship is not available at this time.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end testing delivery across infrastructure, platform, and Compliance Technology initiatives, ensuring successful execution within scope, timeline, and quality standards.Oversee testing services delivered by multiple vendors, ensuring alignment with testing strategies, governance standards, and project objectives.Review and approve test strategies, test plans, test cases, and other testing artefacts to ensure comprehensive coverage across infrastructure and application changes.Partner with infrastructure, platform, application, security, business, and vendor teams to coordinate testing activities, resolve dependencies, and manage delivery risks.Drive testing planning, execution, defect management, environment readiness, and production validation for infrastructure upgrades, platform modernization, system migrations, and regulatory technology initiatives.Monitor testing progress, SLAs, KPIs, risks, and issues, providing timely reporting and escalation management to key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with enterprise testing methodologies, governance standards, and delivery frameworks across Agile, Hybrid Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps environments.Support testing transformation initiatives by introducing automation, continuous improvement, modern testing practices, and emerging technologies including GenAI-assisted testing.Collaborate with Test Engineering teams to define infrastructure and platform-specific testing requirements and ensure successful implementation.Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, technology teams, and vendor Test Managers to deliver high-quality testing services across the portfolio.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience in Test Management, Test Delivery, or Test Program Management within large-scale enterprise environments.Proven experience managing end-to-end testing services across multiple vendor partners for large-scale infrastructure or enterprise technology programmes.Strong experience delivering testing for infrastructure, platform, middleware, system integration, migration, or technology transformation projects.Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), containerized environments, Kubernetes platforms, or cloud-native infrastructure.Experience working with AS400 (IBM i) environments, including testing, integration, modernization, or migration initiatives involving legacy platforms.Strong understanding of enterprise testing methodologies, frameworks, tools, and delivery models including Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, and DevOps.Domain knowledge of Compliance Technology, including AML, KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Transaction Monitoring systems.Familiarity with AML/KYC platforms such as Detica (NetReveal), Actimize, Mantas, or other financial crime compliance solutions.Experience with enterprise testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Tosca, Selenium, UFT/QTP, LoadRunner, or equivalent.Exposure to GenAI-enabled testing approaches and AI-assisted testing tools is highly advantageous.Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across infrastructure, application, security, compliance, business, and vendor teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with experience managing geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.PMP, ISTQB, TMMi, or other relevant project management or testing certifications are highly preferred.
