AI Software Engineer

Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact – Position OverviewAs an AI Software Engineer, you will be part of an Agile, cross-functional product delivery team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mission-critical digital solutions. You will deliver functional and scalable features from the product backlog, contribute across the software development lifecycle, and help ensure that solutions are reliable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with user needs. This role is suitable for engineers with 1-3 years of experience; fresh graduates with strong fundamentals, internship experience, or relevant project work may also be considered.What Makes This Role Different?Unlike organisations that divide responsibilities across separate frontend, backend, QA, DevOps and platform teams, our engineers are expected to take end-to-end ownership of the products they build. Engineers are expected to effectively leverage modern AI development tools and agentic workflows to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and increase the quality of their work.What You Will DoProduct Development·      Design, develop and maintain production grade software applications.·      Build user facing and backend capabilities that solve operational problems.·      Translate business requirements into working software solutions.·      Participate actively in architecture and technical design discussions.AI Product Engineering·      Build and integrate AI-powered capabilities using modern language models and agentic workflows.·      Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine how they can create value within operational use cases.·      Design applications that combine traditional software engineering and AI capabilities in a secure and maintainable manner.Platform Engineering·      Develop cloud native solutions deployed on Kubernetes.·      Implement CI/CD and GitOps practices to automate build, deployment and operational workflows.·      Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability.Quality and Security·      Write maintainable and well tested code.·      Design solutions with security, governance, and operational readiness in mind.·      Support production operations and troubleshoot issues when required.Collaboration·      Work closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders.·      Participate in discovery activities to better understand user needs and operational challenges.·      Contribute to a strong engineering culture built on ownership, learning, and continuous improvement. Requirements What We Are Looking For·      Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related discipline.·      Experience developing applications using modern programming languages.·      Understanding software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, and system design.·      Familiarity with cloud native development practices.·      Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.·      Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.·      Familiarity with AI technologies, LLMs, agent orchestration or retrieval systems.·      Experience with Python and modern web development frameworks.·      Experience with FastAPI, React or similar technologies.·      Experience working with Kubernetes and containerised applications.·      Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git based workflows.·      Experience building and operating production systems.Who This Role Is ForYou enjoy solving difficult problems and are motivated by delivering products that people actually use.
