AI Application Engineer for Regulated Stablecoin Payments CompanyAbout our clientWe are hiring on behalf of a MAS-licensed Major Payment Institution (MPI) based in Singapore. The company builds stablecoin payment infrastructure for businesses and individuals globally, enabling real-time fiat-stablecoin swaps, merchant acceptance, and compliance-grade settlement. Backed by a leading regional VC, they recently closed a Series A funding round and are expanding into new licensed markets including Europe.This is a hands-on AI engineering role focused on building production-grade LLM applications across risk, compliance, and merchant operations — not research, not prototyping. You will own the full cycle from architecture to deployment.What you will be doingBuild LLM-powered applications including Agent workflows, intelligent Q&A systems, automated reporting, and process automation assistantsDesign and implement RAG systems — chunking strategies, embedding management, vector database integration, and retrieval optimisationBuild AI Agents with tool calling and function calling capabilities to orchestrate complex multi-step business processes such as merchant onboarding, document verification, and compliance filingEncapsulate AI capabilities as versioned, reusable APIs and microservices following microservice design principlesDesign AI application architecture with service-oriented, modular, and multi-tenant characteristics to support productisation across business linesBuild automated evaluation, monitoring, and alerting systems to continuously track model performance across accuracy, latency, and costIntegrate with core backend systems across payment, risk, and compliance platforms, ensuring financial-grade security and compliance requirements are metWhat we are looking forDegree in Computer Science, AI, or related field; 5+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in production AI application engineeringProficient in Python or Java with solid hands-on experience in microservice architecture, MySQL, Redis, and message queuesDeep working knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG architecture, Agent frameworks, and Function Calling / Tool UseStrong system architecture design capability — able to design AI applications that are service-oriented, modular, multi-tenant, and production-readyUnderstanding of cross-border payments, financial risk control, anti-fraud, and compliance review workflowsAbout UsDada Consultants was established in 2017, with the commitment of providing the best recruitment services in Singapore.
