More details are below.JOB TYPE12 Months ContractROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorking with a system infrastructure team;Responsible for the operations, support, maintenance, research and development to ensure continual innovation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system;Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for on-premise environment and on Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC);Participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure;Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners; and Accountable for the following systems:o Red Hat Linux and Windows;o Middleware includes WebSphere Application Servers, WebSphere Message Queue.REQUIREMENTSRecognised degree with a technical major such as engineering, data communications or computer science. Diploma holders with relevant experience and expertise will be considered;System Engineer certification in Red Hat Linux and/or Microsoft including Cloud;Minimum 3 years system administration experience;Good written and verbal communication skills;Strong technical troubleshooting skills;Able to work well both independently as well as in a team;Knowledge and experience in Red Hat Linux scripting; andThe skills for the following will be considered as an advantage:o AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCCo Terraform and Ansibleo GitlabWHAT'S ON OFFERYou will be remunerated with an excellent salary and be entitled to attractive company benefits.
