AI Full Stack Engineer - 12 Months Contract

Job OverviewWe are seeking an AI Full Stack Engineer to design and develop AI-enabled tools, applications, and automation workflows supporting governance, risk, and audit functions. The role focuses on building end-to-end solutions that integrate AI/LLM capabilities with modern full stack technologies to improve internal processes and decision-making.You will work closely with technical and domain stakeholders to develop prototypes, production-ready applications, and AI-powered workflows, including LLM integrations, document processing, RAG systems, and automation solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, test, and enhance AI-enabled tools, dashboards, automation workflows, and internal applications for governance, risk, and audit use cases.Integrate LLM APIs and AI capabilities such as prompt workflows, document analysis, RAG systems, AI agents, and automation features.Develop full stack applications including frontend and backend components using modern frameworks.Connect APIs, databases, and external services to support scalable and functional applications.Support deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness of developed solutions.Participate in requirement gathering, documentation, task tracking, and stakeholder updates.Collaborate with technical teams and domain users to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs.Analyse user feedback and system performance to continuously improve tools and workflows.RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field.1–3 years of experience in software engineering, full stack development, AI engineering, product development, or related roles.Experience building AI-enabled applications, prototypes, automation workflows, or internal tools.Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs or AI models into applications (e.g. chat interfaces, document processing tools, prompt workflows, automation systems).Strong full stack development experience using technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.Experience working with APIs, databases, Git, and basic cloud or application deployment.Technical SkillsAI Engineering: LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, model evaluation, guardrails.Full Stack Development: Frontend and backend development, debugging, testing, and system integration.Data & Integration: API integration, database handling, and document/data processing (structured and unstructured data).Software Engineering Practices: Git, testing, documentation, debugging, and writing maintainable code.Deployment & Tools: Basic cloud deployment, CI/CD understanding, and application troubleshooting.Preferred AttributesStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new AI tools and frameworks.Good communication skills to translate technical concepts clearly.Interest in public sector digital governance, risk, and audit domains.Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.Key SkillsAI Engineering, Full Stack Development, LLM Integration, RAG Systems, Prompt Engineering, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, Django, API Integration, Database Management, Automation, AI Agents, Software Development, Cloud DeploymentLaurence Andaya - R26159876Recruitment ConsultantEA 05C3053BGC Group Pte Ltd (Outsourcing)By submitting your resume or personal data, you consent to BGC Group Pte Ltd collecting, using, anddisclosing your personal data to our clients and partners for the purpose of evaluating your suitabilityfor job opportunities and related recruitment services.
