Machine Learning Engineer

Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain backend services for Data and MLOptimize and manage databasesDeploy applications to Azure cloud leveraging on the full spectrum of the Azure cloud servicesAutomate model training, testing and deployment using CI/CDUnderstand and implement metrics to verify effectiveness and soundness of the ML modelRequirementsFormal education in Computer Science or a related field, such as Software Engineering or Data Engineering5 years of relevant work experience in developing backend services and working with relational databasesExperience working on Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, ClaudeExperience working on Generative AI appsExperience working with cloud services, preferably AzureExperience with Python and related ML libraries (eg. Pandas, Pytorch)Experience with database languages (e.g. SQL)Experience with CI/CD, preferably JenkinsExperience with DockerExperience working in a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, software engineers, product managers and subject domain expertsExperience in Agile working environmentPreferred requirementsExperience with Dagster/Airflow is preferredExperience with Snowflake is preferredExperience with Azure OpenAI API is preferredGood to have experience with using coding agents in development
