You will play a key role in designingand developing AI-powered laboratory automation equipment, working closely withour AI, software, mechanical, and laboratory teams.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic systems for AI-powered and chemistry laboratory hardware equipment.Perform schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, hardware debugging, and system validation.Develop and integrate laboratory automation equipment, sensor modules, embedded control systems, and related electronic hardware.Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, AI, and laboratory teams to achieve system integration, functional verification, testing, and troubleshooting.Prepare and maintain hardware design documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), test reports, and other technical documentation.Continuously improve and optimize existing hardware designs based on project requirements, reliability targets, manufacturing considerations, and user feedback.RequirementsBachelor's degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Measurement & Control, Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.Proficiency in at least one professional EDA software package, with the ability to independently complete schematic capture, PCB layout, component footprint creation, and manufacturing file generation.Solid understanding of analog circuits, digital circuits, power electronics, and embedded hardware design principles.Hands-on experience with electronic component selection, PCB prototyping, soldering, hardware debugging, and validation testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently diagnose hardware issues and perform system-level debugging.Experience in AI hardware, laboratory automation, sensor systems, embedded control systems, or chemistry laboratory equipment is an advantage.Familiarity with 3D CAD software is a plus.Relevant industry experience is preferred; however, outstanding fresh graduates with strong project experience are encouraged to apply.Good command of both English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively in a technical environment.Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering team.Preferred QualificationsExperience using EDA tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, Cadence Allegro, or EasyEDA.Familiarity with embedded platforms including STM32, ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar microcontroller systems.Knowledge of motor control, sensor data acquisition, temperature control, fluidic control, laboratory instrument interfaces, or industrial control systems.Experience taking hardware products through the complete development cycle, including design, prototyping, debugging, testing, and production introduction.Experience developing AI hardware, laboratory automation systems, scientific instruments, or chemistry laboratory equipment.Position OverviewAs an Electronics Engineer at Scyclon, you will participate in thedevelopment of advanced AI-powered laboratory automation hardware.
