The Engineering Tool Development (ETD) team develops innovative analytic and automation solutions that solve some of the most complex manufacturing challenges in the semiconductor industry.We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst who is excited about semiconductors, packaging technologies, and data driven problem solving. In this role, you will help translate business needs into actionable requirements, support image analysis solution development, and collaborate with engineers across global teams. Role OverviewAs a Business Analyst for the ETD team, you will partner with engineers, data scientists, and program managers to support development of advanced imaging, metrology, and data analytics solutions. Your work will help streamline manufacturing flows, enhance defect detection and classification, and enable next generation packaging technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesStakeholder & Requirements SupportCollaborate with image processing engineers, packaging SMEs, and operations teams to understand business challenges and translate them into clear problem statements and requirements.Support intake, scoping, and prioritization of new project requests. Data & Image Analytics CollaborationPartner with technical teams to define data needs, evaluate feasibility, and help structure image processing focused use cases.Assist in documenting assumptions, constraints, and expected business value.Project CoordinationHelp track project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across cross functional teams.Contribute to transition planning for solutions moving from prototype to production deployment.Communication & DocumentationProduce clear and concise documentation, including requirement summaries, feasibility notes, user guides, and status updates.Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.Support incident follow‑up and cross‑team communication for manufacturing‑impacting issues by documenting problem statements, decisions, and system impacts when needed. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics, Engineering Management, or a related field.3+ years experience in semiconductor industry with understanding of package developmentExperience with Python, SQL, or data analysis tools.Exposure to image analytics, machine learning, optics, or semiconductor manufacturing concepts.Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to break down complex processes or datasets.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse, global teams.Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.Familiarity with project coordination, requirements analysis, or technical documentation.Experience with cloud platforms, version control, or workflow automation tools.
