Over the years, SmartSense has evolved to include wearable tags for matching an infant to the right mother, tags for tracking equipment, and several software solutions. This internationally award winning product is deployed in several hospitals in Singapore and overseas.Product Design Engineer (Hardware/Firmware)Develop hardware and firmware for wireless sensors & location tracking (RTLS) devicesExperience with Bluetooth will be an advantageExperience with C/C++ and firmware programming will be advantageExperience with AI coding will be advantageDevelop product functional specifications and perform electronics circuit design, schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping and testingManage product design life cycle from conceptualisation, design, verification, certification to post-production successfully, ensuring:Milestones are delivered by scheduled datesMandays are utilized within budgetHigh quality of work is achievedProvide on-site technical support during system deploymentTo assist in any other work as required by the companyDegree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering or equivalentAt least 2 years (or 5 years for Senior position) of relevant hardware and firmware development experience in 8/16/32 bit embedded systemsExperience in network protocols such as WiFi/TCPIP would be advantageous
