Application & BI Developer

We are seeking an Application& BI Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal business applications and data analytics solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.This role will focus on developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with a strong focus on financial reporting, data analytics, process automation, and business process improvement.The successful candidate will work closely with Finance and business teams to transform business requirements into scalable digital solutions, improve operational efficiency, and provide data-driven insights to support decision making.Key Responsibilities1. Power Platform Development & Business ApplicationsDevelop and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps). Design and enhance workflow automation solutions using Power Automate. Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Support integration between Power Platform solutions and enterprise systems, including: Microsoft SharePoint Online Microsoft 365 Microsoft Business Central (BC) SQL databases External systems via APIs Design solutions that improve business processes and reduce manual activities. 2. Financial Data Analysis & Business IntelligenceDevelop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to provide timely insights into business and financial performance. Create visualizations to monitor: Financial KPIs Budget vs actual performance Cost trends Revenue and profitability analysis Operational performance indicators Develop financial analysis models to support: Budgeting Forecasting Management reporting Business performance reviews Perform data analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Support automation of recurring financial reports and management dashboards. Perform data exploration and analysis across multiple business systems. 3. Data Integration & Data ManagementCollaborate with Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate and reliable data integration. Extract, transform, and prepare data from various sources for reporting and analytics. Design and maintain data structures using: SQL databases SharePoint Lists Dataverse Business Central data sources Implement data validation and cleansing processes to improve data quality. Ensure reporting datasets are accurate, consistent, and properly maintained. Support data analytics and data mining activities. 4. Process Automation & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to automate manual business processes. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Design workflows with proper: Error handling Logging Security controls Continuously improve existing applications, reports, and automation solutions. Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and recommend improvements. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration & SupportWork closely with Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and system requirements. Analyze user needs and propose practical technical solutions. Provide guidance and training to end-users on dashboards, reports, and applications. Gather user feedback and improve solution usability and effectiveness. Provide Level 2 support for internal applications and reporting solutions. 6. Security, Governance & DocumentationFollow company IT security policies and governance standards. Implement appropriate access controls and permissions. Ensure solutions comply with internal data governance requirements. Maintain technical documentation, including: Application design Data sources Workflow logic User guides RequirementsEducationDiploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Finance Technology, or related field. Technical Skills (Preferred)Candidates should have knowledge or experience in:Microsoft Power PlatformPower BI Power Apps Power Automate Microsoft Dataverse Data &AnalyticsSQL Data modelling concepts ETL processes Data visualization best practices Financial reporting concepts Microsoft EcosystemMicrosoft Business Central (BC) is an advantage SharePoint Online Microsoft 365 environment Programming /Technical SkillsDAX Power Query (M language) JSON REST APIs Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript / Python is an advantage) Finance Knowledge (Preferred)Understanding of financial reporting processes. Familiarity with: General Ledger Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Budgeting and forecasting Cost analysis Management reporting Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of business processes. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical users. Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies. Able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. ExperienceFresh graduates are welcome. 1–3 years of experience in: Power BI development Power Platform development Business intelligence Data analytics Application development Experience working with Microsoftbusiness applications or ERP systems is an advantage.
