Lead AI Product Engineer

About the roleAs we enter an exciting new phase of rapid growth, we're building a next-generation backend architecture that will redefine fintech globally. We're looking for technically strong product-minded professionals who thrive at the intersection of engineering and product management, and who have experience driving end-to-end product development. This role will focus on shaping and scaling critical fintech capabilities including money movement flows, robust global third-party financial integrations, and foundational ledger support.We’re seeking individuals who can combine deep technical understanding with strong product ownership, working closely with engineering, business, and cross-functional stakeholders to define strategy, prioritize execution, and deliver impactful solutions at scale. If you're excited about building complex fintech products within an international and diverse team, we encourage you to apply.What will you be doing?Own problems end-to-end: from idea → prototype → productionBuild AI-native products (LLMs, agents, automation workflows)Rapidly prototype solutions using modern AI tools (Cursor, GPT, etc.)Work directly with stakeholders to understand problems and ship solutionsDesign and implement agentic workflows, copilots, and internal toolsDefine product direction while building (no heavy PM handoffs)Continuously improve systems using feedback loops and dataWe would love to get to know you if you have the following:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 6 to 10 years of proven experience in a software engineering role.Comfortable working in ambiguity and 0→1 environmentsProduct intuition — you can decide what to build, not just howHands-on experience building with LLMs, RAG, agents, APIs and proficient in at least one backend programming language such as Golang, PHP, Python, Java, etc.Ability to ship fast and iterate quicklyExperience building real-world AI use cases (not just experiments)Demonstrated work: live projects, GitHub, or shipped systemsSolid understanding of software architecture principles, distributed systems design patterns, and domain-driven design.A strong focus on code quality, adhering to best practices, and a demonstrated ability to ensure high standards through meticulous development and testing.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.Nice to have:Built internal tools, copilots, or automation systems that drove real impactExperience with:Prompt engineering / evalsVector DBs, embeddingsWorkflow orchestration (LangChain, etc.)Domain expertise within the Fintech industry, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities.What success looks likeCopy HTML contentShips production-ready AI features in days, not weeksReduces manual workflows using AI automationActs as a force multiplier for the teamBridges product gaps without waiting for specsWhy this role?You’ll work on high-impact problems in a fast-growing global fintech and help shape how we build with AI at Aspire.
