AI Product Owner – Insurance AI Transformation ProgrammeContract Duration: 12 Months | Potential to ExtendLocation: Singapore / Malaysia with regional travel across multiple marketsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced AI Product Owner to drive the delivery of AI and GenAI-enabled products and transformation initiatives across the insurance business. This role will bridge business priorities, customer needs, and technology delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of AI use cases at scale.The ideal candidate will possess strong insurance domain knowledge combined with experience delivering AI-enabled digital products, automation initiatives, or GenAI transformation programmes.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and manage the AI product roadmap aligned to strategic transformation goalsIdentify, prioritize, and refine AI and GenAI use cases across business functionsGather and translate business requirements into actionable product backlogs and delivery plansWork closely with architects, data teams, engineering squads, and business stakeholdersDrive agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demosEnsure measurable business outcomes, adoption, and value realization from AI initiativesSupport pilot rollouts, experimentation, and scaling of AI solutions across regional marketsEngage senior stakeholders across operations, claims, underwriting, distribution, and customer experience teamsManage dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines across multiple workstreamsRequired Experience7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Digital Transformation LeadStrong experience within the insurance sectorProven exposure to AI, GenAI, automation, or data-driven transformation programmesExperience working within agile delivery environmentsStrong stakeholder engagement and business translation capabilityExperience managing regional or enterprise transformation initiativesPreferred SkillsFamiliarity with AI use cases such as claims automation, customer servicing, underwriting optimisation, fraud detection, or conversational AIExposure to AI product lifecycle management and experimentation frameworksKnowledge of agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOpsIdeal Candidate ProfileBusiness-centric with strong technology understandingStrong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skillsComfortable operating in fast-paced transformation environmentsOutcome-oriented and commercially minded
