Machine Learning Engineer (12-Month Contract)

About the RoleOur client is seeking a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to support the development, deployment, and optimization of machine learning solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and predictive models.Key Responsibilities• Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.• Develop, train, validate, and optimize machine learning models for predictive and classification use cases.• Perform data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation activities.• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.• Design and conduct experiments, hypothesis testing, and statistical analyses to support business objectives.• Work closely with data engineering teams to prepare and optimize datasets for modelling and analytics.• Develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.• Monitor and maintain machine learning models in production environments to ensure performance and accuracy.• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science and machine learning best practices.Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.• Hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.• Good understanding of statistics, predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and model validation techniques.• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills• Experience with Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar data platforms.• Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes.• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI foundation models will be advantageous.• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments.How To Apply:Submit your application by emailing a detailed copy of your updated Resume in MS Word Format to Lin Jin Sen (EA Personnel Reg.
