VP Global Markets Trading & Risk Application L2 Support, GIPS

JDThe GM Risk app support will serve as an ApplicationSupport, strategist, and innovator for Global Markets and Risk ManagementSystems. We are looking for a candidate who has a good mix of broad and deeptechnical and leadership qualities who can take on the role of leading the Runfunctions of GM & Risk Application team (GM Trading, Balance sheet,interest rate risk, liquidity, fraud and compliance).This role will participate in technical discussions toshare ideas and provide feedback in continuing the improvement of the RiskPlatform areas such as cost savings, technology adoption, and problemresolution operational efficiency. This role will also require strongmanagement and technical responsibility. We are looking for an individual towork in a challenging and demanding banking environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide support to the organization in developing, operating and managing large and sophisticated enterprise system environments, with a primary responsibility of leading banks run function.The role oversees a 24/7/365 support the GM and Risk management systems and provide support to GM business at Trading floorAct as Subject Matter expert for teams, providing guidance for efforts including incident and problem management.Ensure Database and middleware product availability, performance & patch compliance in accordance with bank standards.Driving team’s Automation initiatives. Driving productivity, recommending improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.Provides senior level technical guidance to staff, application team and other teams as necessary.Analyze production systems and performance testing to identify areas of improvement within the application or infrastructure.Engages in strategic planning with business and technology stakeholders to provide direction, technology roadmaps, and platform design and architectureEnsures that application and system uptime is maintained according to SLAsResolving complex issues involving performance, capacity, resiliency, stabilityKnowledge in OpenShift container platform, Linux, Control M, ITRS monitoring, Splunk, Grafana, EOD process, SQL scriptsGood understanding of Financial Trading platform such as Murex, Risk management systems in interest rate, Liquidity, capital, and Compliance RiskGood in stakeholder business managementRequirementsDegree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 9 years relevant experience.Strong Middleware Application Server and AWSSAS knowledgeExtensive experience in traditional database technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL, MariaDBExperience in using, configure, setup and maintain Kubernetes container management platform such as OpenShiftFamiliarity with GenAI tools and librariesIn-depth understanding of application security and SSL certificatesStrong background in dealing with application development teams and principal vendorsMust have working experience & knowledge on ITIL Processes for IT service management (ITSM) to manage Incidents and problem tasks.Experience in leading IT operations team in banking industry.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to interact professionallyStrong awareness and sensitivity of the priority in maintaining full compliance with IT security and operation standardsHighly organized, motivated and able to meet deadlinesCustomer focus and result orientedAbility to work under pressure with demanding objectives/timelines
